NOTICE OF VIRTUAL INDUSTRY/ACADEMIA DAYS
BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT
TEST & EVALUATION/SCIENCE &TECHNOLOGY (T&E/S&T)
The Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) in conjunction with U.S. Army Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) and Army Contracting Command-Orlando(ACC-O) will host an industry/academia forum in support of the TRMC Test & Evaluation/Science & Technology (T&E/S&T) Program’s Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) (Reference: SAM.GOV, Solicitation Number: W900KK-22-R-0012). The intent of the industry/academia forum is to provide information to interested parties regarding the administrative processes for participating in announced opportunities from the recently released BAA. This BAA will utilize unique ways to iteratively communicate research topics over the duration of the five-year BAA lifespan. These topics address priority shortfalls in technology development that prevent current capability development for the systems that perform test and evaluation functions for the Department of Defense. The event includes a forum on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 and one-on-one sessions (as available) on Tuesday, after the forum, and on Wednesday and Thursday, April 6-7, 2022.
The industry forum will consist of Opening and Welcoming Remarks from TRMC, ACC-O and PEO STRI, PM CT2-IMO, a briefing to industry/academia partners pertaining to the newly released BAA, a briefing from the Executing Agents (EAs) for Directed Energy Test (DET) and Electronic Warfare Test (EWT) technology area teams to discuss their announced research topics in context with the scenarios for their needs. Questions via chat will be supported in each of these three sessions.
