About this file
This draft request for proposal concerns a contract for the procurement of water storage distribution systems. The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal intends to solicit for the integration, assembly, and logistics packages for a maximum of 123 water storage distribution systems, with 87 systems providing 100,000 gallon storage capacity and 36 configured for 100,000 or two 50,000 gallon units. The contract will also include 350 gallons per minute fluid distribution pumps, with an estimated 150 units procured. The water storage distribution systems will provide large water intake, purification and distribution capabilities. The systems are comprised of collapsible storage tanks, pumps, meters, hoses and fittings. The Government will utilize a two-phase approach, first soliciting five indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts to deliver test pumps by May 3rd. Following testing, the Government will evaluate results and proposals to determine a single vendor for system production and logistics through potential seven-year contracts. This procurement is set aside for small businesses.
