About this file
This draft request for proposal concerns the procurement of water storage distribution systems and fluid distribution pumps. The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal intends to solicit proposals for the production of up to 123 water storage distribution systems with storage capacities of either 100,000 gallons or 50,000 gallons, as well as approximately 150 350-gallon-per-minute fluid distribution pumps. The Army will utilize a two-phase approach, first awarding multiple IDIQ contracts to test sample pumps, then modifying one contract to the vendor offering the best value for full production and logistics. Proposers may submit any clarifying questions by May 3rd regarding this draft RFP, though responses may not be provided before release of the final solicitation.
