F-35 Add/Alter B404 Q&A 6
Q44. There have been several questions and answers posted to the solicitation, including changes to the bid form on beta.sam. Will the solicitation be amended per FAR 15.206 to address these changes so that the Offerors can acknowledge these changes?
Yes, it has been posted with this posting. Please note that there is not a modification 0001. There was a system glitch that pushed the mod to 0002. You should only be acknowledging the one modification.
Q45. What type of carpet is currently installed in the building? Plans state to remove and salvage carpet for reinstallation. If it is glued down, it cannot be salvaged and reinstalled. Please advise. Carpet product data is outlined on Sheet A-601 of the Drawings.
Q46. Are there any existing secure area computers or servers with critical power needs that will require a generator during power switch over?
The facility will be completely cleared of all classified materials.
Q47. Keynote 4.134 on page A-121 states that All walls (existing and new) above the ceiling up to roof deck, provide a level 5 gyp finish and paint to match color below. Previous work at existing walls were left with a painted, level 1 finish. Remediate deficiencies at penetrations, gyp bd joints, and screws, and may require a complete skim coat. Please provide photos of these conditions in these areas so offerors can provide accurate pricing.
See attached photos. Simply put; the level of finish you expect to see at eye-level must be extended from true-floor (concrete) to true-ceiling (roof decking). There should be no noticeable finish distinction along the wall.
NOTE: This is the last set of questions that were asked. NO further questions will be accepted.
