1. During the site visit it was asked who will be moving the tools, equipment, machinery, and furniture out of the work area. Will the Contractor be responsible to move and store the tools, equipment, machinery, and furniture or will the space be vacant of these items prior to construcon?

The contractor will have half of the south bay (Phase III bay) for storing government furniture, and contractor tools, equipment and materials during construcon of Phases I and II. Emily A Staggs Director of Sales and Design Advantor Systems Corporaon staggs@advantor.com 407-926-6929 Office 407-375-3518 Cell

5. What is the ancipated me the government needs between phases to relocate personnel?

During transion of phases, does the government intend to complete a walk-through and release that phase and deem the contractor to be 100% complete at that me?

Gov Response: The Government requests 15 days to relocate personnel in between phases. The Government will perform walk-through with the contractor and deem the phase complete prior to government personnel moving into the renovated space.

6. Please verify the Owner is responsible for removal of all equipment, unbolted furniture, personal effects, etc. from the affected areas prior to construcon.

KO response: See response #Q1

7. Reference drawings A-110A, A-110B, A-110C & A-110D, Keynotes A26, A27, A28 & A29: Please provide details for the various type striping requirements.

A-E Response: All hangar bay striping is required to be in accordance with UFC 4-211-01 Aircra Maintenance Hangars. Please refer to secon 7-3.2 Aircra Maintenance Bay Striping Requirements for details.

8. Secons 03 30 00 and 09 65 66 appear to require LEED documentaon as part of the product data submital process. Please confirm this is not a LEED rated project.

A-E Response: Confirmed, this is not a LEED project.

9. The specifications indicates that the painting contractor needs to hold the SSPC QP 8 and QS 1 Certifications within the Epoxy flooring section. Most epoxy flooring contractors are not painting contractors, and therefore, do not carry the SSPC certifications. Please advise on the coating contractor’s qualifications for this project.

A-E Response: Coang contractor’s qualificaons are to meet those outlined in the specificaons for Epoxy Flooring.

10. The specificaons state that the following are required for Epoxy Flooring Contractors. Please confirm all three will be required at all phases of this project in addion to the QC provided by the General Contractor.

a. Cerfied Industrial Hygienist

b. Coang Inspecon Company

c. QC Specialists Coang Inspector, SSPC QP 5 Level 2

A-E Response: Coang Inspecon Company and QC Specialists Coang Inspector, SSPC QP 5 Level 2 are required for installaon of Epoxy flooring on this project. Cerfied Industrial Hygienist is required to review/sign-off on Epoxy Flooring submitals.

11. AD-101A Keynotes D20 and D17 show the demolion of the exisng stairs and Ships ladder.

However no previsions for new access to the mezzanine seems to be provided. Is it the intent to no longer have permanent access to the mezzanine?

A-E Response: Correct, the mezzanine will remain as an unoccupied space with no direct access.

12. A-541 D5 show new metal composite panels at new curtain wall system. However it was menoned these panels are 10-15 years old. Is it the intent to match these panels as close as possible due to the fading of color on exisng panels to match?

A-E Response: Correct, the intenon is to color match as close as possible to current condion of panels.

13. Several locaons within the Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression reference the ANGETL 15-03-01 Air Naonal Guard Technical Leter needs to be met. Can you provide these documents to us to save any confusion?

A-E Response: ANG ETLs can be found here: htps://www.wbdg.org/ffc/ang

14. CS402 states we are to coordinate with JEA. Are these to be JEA’s transformers?

A-E Response: (EL to answer & possibly coordinate w/ CV; any sheet revisions needed?)

JEA References will be removed from CS402 in a forthcoming amendment. The Transformers are Base owned and the contractor must provide new transformers for the project.

https://www.wbdg.org/ffc/ang

15. When installing the new transformers, the exisng transformers need removed, concrete demolished, new transformers set. Does the Florida Air Naonal Guard have previsions in place for this outage? Currently the lead mes for these transformers well exceed the Phase 2 deadline.

Gov Response: The government proposes that one transformer is replaced at a me and power the enre Main Buss through the Tie Breaker. The main driver for the transformer upgrade is the added load for the jets. The government can work around providing power to the jets using auxiliary ground equipment. Also the Government is aware of the long lead on transformers, and that we will separate the transformer installaon from Phase II compleon.

16. There is new 3” sanitary being installed at Ready Room 127 has a not to connect to the nearest sanitary 3” or Larger. The nearest sanitary reflected on the drawings is a 4” running through men’s restroom 144 within Phase 3. This work will require concrete slab to be cut and a e in complete. Will access to this phase be available in order to complete phase 2 work as required?

A-E Response: The new kitchen sink and floor drain are not to be used unl installaon is complete in phase 3. Work in phase 2 shall be complete up to the boundary of phase 3 and connected during phase 3. Operaons to confirm use of the fixtures are not necessary unl compleon of phase 3.

17. Structural drawings reflect mechanical openings requiring detail A401 A1 throughout area A, B C and D. However it seems only half of these openings are picked up within the structural drawings. If we are to use mechanical drawings for remaining openings, please confirm which walls beyond the exisng drywall furring are CMU and which are lt up requiring detail S-201 detail A7.

A-E Response: See revised sheets (S-101A-D, S-102A-D) in forthcoming amendment to include addional wall penetraons and infills.
