DLA Distribution LMIS Pre‐Proposal Conference agenda for Presentations and Site Tours of the Eastern Distribution Center (EDC)
There will be an opportunity for representatives from each company to attend a site tour of the Eastern
Distribution Center (EDC) during the pre‐proposal conference for the DLA Distribution Logistics
Modernization Integration Support (LMIS) effort to be held on December 10‐12. The tour time assignments will be assigned based on when information is provided from interested offerors.
Contractors are allowed up to three personnel who can represent them on the EDC tours. Contractors can bring as many personnel as they determine necessary for the presentations.
Day 1
Pool (2), Material Handling Capability: Presentation will occur the morning of the 10th and the tours of AWOS area within the EDC will take place in the afternoon, see below for Pool (2) Tour Times. All Pool
(2) information will be presented on day 1, the remainder of the pre‐proposal conference after day 1 will only apply to Pool (1).

Day 3
Contractors can sign up at the event to enter EDC for the sole purpose of taking measurements of the EDC equipment and/or the facility for their use in proposal development.

Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Vendors will be assigned to groups on a first come first serve basis.
The tour of the EDC is limited to companies that are registered for the EDC Modernization Pre‐Proposal
Conference.
Please be aware of the following guidelines for touring the EDC.
a. Everyone must stay together in their assigned group at all times
b. No cell phones or cameras allowed. Note if contractors would like a photo of a specific piece of equipment and/or the facility, a Government Official who is authorized to take photos will be present during the pre‐proposal conference. The photos taken during the pre‐proposal conference will be made available to all interested offerors. Instructions for how vendors can obtain the photos will be provided during the pre‐proposal conference.
c. Everyone must wear closed toe shoes (no heels) for there will be a lot of walking, FLATS ARE
OK, NEED TO BE READY TO WALK
d. Wear comfortable clothing
e. This is a working facility so there is a possibility you may get dusty and dirty
f. This is a working facility so everyone must pay attention for reasons of safety, A safety brief will be given prior to entering the warehouse facility
g. No weapons allowed on base
