About this file

This document contains a Data Item Description (DID) outlining requirements for a Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Property (GFP) Report. The DID specifies that the report must include general information about the contractor such as name, CAGE code, contract number, and address. It also requires an inventory of all GFE and GFP including identification numbers, serial numbers, part numbers, manufacturers, and quantities. For each asset, the report must document its condition using predefined criteria and identify any lost, damaged, or missing property with explanations. The related federal contract opportunity is for Logistics Modernization Integration Support (LMIS) for the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution and involves providing contractor inventory reporting of GFE and GFP as described in the DID.
