About this file
This document is a Brand Name Justification (BNJ) that accompanies a special notice for a federal contract opportunity. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a solicitation for a 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to acquire various Axis Communications IP cameras and equipment. The procurement will be a 100% small business set-aside using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Parts 13 and 8. The BNJ outlines the market research conducted, which found no alternative sources capable of meeting the requirement. The government determined the anticipated price will be fair and reasonable based on comparisons to the Independent Government Cost Estimate, historical data, and the NASA SEWP V pricing. The estimated solicitation release date is October 28, 2024, and the applicable NAICS code is 334310 - Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing.
