About this file

This document outlines a state and local contract opportunity for Automatic Fire Sprinkler System Testing & Inspection at Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UWMC Montlake and UWMC Northwest and its campus buildings. UW Medicine is seeking to establish a qualified pool of Bidders to provide these services. The contract covers a range of fire sprinkler system testing and inspection requirements per NFPA 25, including quarterly supervisory tests, semi-annual water flow and tamper device tests, annual pre-action tests, semi-annual water tank tests, 3-year dry system full trip tests, annual fire pump tests, annual PRV exercise tests, and 5-year interval testing. The contract term is not specified.

Pricing terms, set asides, and funding details are not provided. The document indicates that repairs may be needed, and UWMC will provide a pipe machine and miscellaneous parts, with limitations on materials. UWMC will order any required materials for scheduled repairs.
