About this file
This modification to solicitation N69450-20-R-0129 provides revisions to drawings and specifications for the Alert Facility and Alert Apron project at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans.
The project involves construction of an Aerospace Control Alert Facility with two aircraft shelters, aircrew alert quarters, and an Alternate Command Post building. An alert apron will be constructed for two alert ready aircraft along with site utilities, communications, exterior lighting, and security upgrades. The modification adds specifications for asphalt surface treatment, aggregate base courses, and hot-mix asphalt paving. Impacted drawings are replaced to indicate Building 24 location and note taxiway light removal details.
The proposal due date remains October 19, 2020. Interested parties may attend an optional pre-proposal conference on September 1 and submit technical inquiries through ProjNet by the specified key. Revisions to the solicitation are posted to beta.SAM.gov. The Navy will award a firm-fixed-price design-bid-build construction contract for $25-100 million with a 1300-day completion schedule.
