Tests conducted prior to such modifications shall be repeated unless a Government technical representative determines that such changes have not invalidated the related test data. Government approved software or hardware changes will follow the PMA 260’s CM process.
3.1.6.8 Final Station Acceptance
A two-part approach will be implemented for station acceptance. Initial inspection and acceptance by the COR or designated Government representative at the contractor’s facility. SMAT and CAL will be performed at station destination before final inspection and acceptance.
Initial inspection at origin shall be based on the Contractor’s certification of successful completion of PAT and PRAT in accordance with this SOW. Upon initial acceptance by the Government, the Contractor shall ship the unit and the associated Test/Inspection Report (CDRL A005) to the destination provided by the Government. The Contractor shall also include a copy of the associated Assembly Build Book, in Contractor format, as an artifact. This artifact will not require Government approval as part of the associated Test/Inspection Report (CDRL A005).
At destination, final inspection and acceptance shall be based upon: (1) Government review and approval of Contractor provided associated Test/Inspection Report (CDRL A005) and Government review of the Assembly Build Book, containing copies of the records for the complete production and inspection history as well as traceability for each station built; and (2) successful run of SMAT and CAL at station destination. The Government requires a 90-day window of time during this phase to allow for final acceptance for shore-based stations. The Government requires a 180 days window of time during this phase to allow for final acceptance of ship-based stations. The Government will provide the required ship-to address at the time of the initial acceptance, which will allow the Contractor to package the station and prepare the required documentation for final acceptance at the specified Government facility.
