Please confirm that, with reference to corporate experience, a relevant project could be a new construction of a multi-story (minimum 3 stories above ground level) hospital, with a total value exceeding $ 15,000,000, composed of various units and a specific part in which more than 30 hospital rooms and beds are located.

Due to the complexity of the project, and considering the difficulties that we have related to recent regulations about the ongoing pandemic situation, we would like to ask to postopone the proposal due date to 23,12,2020

See previous amendments extending the due date

Dear Sirs, we would like to draw your attention to the following:

- the pre-proposal conference and site visit will be conducted on November 24 instead of November 12, this means offerors could get some potentially important information very close to the deadline; this is even more significant if we consider that we envisage 4/5 working days for shipping time only;

- the COVID 19 restrictions in Italy are getting more and more stringent, the majority of Italian Companies' employees work from home and this makes it difficult and complicated to request quotations to suppliers, and response/delivery times are longer than expected.

In consideration of the above we would respectfully request an extension of the deadline to submit the proposals of one week, i.e. from December 10 to December 17. We appreciate your attention and truly hope that our request can be accommodated.

See previous amendments extending the due date

9 21 4 4.1

Due to the reason that one of the qualifying aspects of the offer is the demolition of existing buildings with possible presence of "hazardous" materials (i.e. asbestos, etc.), the consequent need of specialized firms for material removal and of evaluation for special disposal costs require the knowledge of informations that can be deduced via visual inspection. For the above, we kindly ask you the possibility to schedule a site inspection as soon as possible and, in any case, by the end of the current week (no. 46) or the beginning of the following one.

See Section 02 82 00. The Hazardous Material and Environmental Survey

Report is provided in the specifications and is located after specification section 02 82 00.

10 21 4 4.2

In order to develop the tender documents in the best possible way and to submit a competitive offer, we kindly ask you to postpone the date of submission of the offer by two weeks.

See previous amendments extending the due date

As per the Amendment of Solicitation #2, the Pre-Proposal Conference has been moved to 24th of november (delay of 12 days). To attend it is not mandatory, but it gives information about the project and the existing conditions, as a matter of fair competition between the ones who already know the site, the existing conditions and the context, and the ones who have not worked in the Base.

Morover, following the Instruction to Bidders Section 4.3, any pre-proposal Inquiry has to be submittes at latest 15 business days before the solicitation closing date, which is now before the date of the Pre-Proposal meeting so that it would be impossible to clarify any doubt rising during it.

Following the above and due to the complexity of the project, we ask to extend the date of receipt of offers at least four weeks.
