About this file
This document is an Amendment (Number 0008) to Solicitation N4008525R2609 for Design-Bid-Build Perimeter Security Improvements at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, NCTS Cutler, Maine. The amendment provides multiple updates including responses to Pre-Proposal Inquiries (PPIs), revisions to various technical drawings across multiple disciplines (civil, architectural, structural, landscape), and modifications to specification sections covering areas such as warranties, environmental controls, concrete pavement, and high-security fencing.
Key technical clarifications include updates to warranty terms for metal canopy systems, specifications for coating materials in coastal environments, confirmation of specific technical requirements like steel post specifications, modifications to site utility and demolition plans, and responses to contractor questions about equipment specifications, security systems, and installation details. The amendment maintains the original proposal due date of 4 June 2025 and addresses technical nuances across various project components, particularly focusing on perimeter security improvements, site infrastructure, and building systems for the naval shipyard facility.

Contractor must coordinate with selected vendor for optimal placement for best line-of-sight.
CS001
TY504 shows a FLIR Ranger camera, After working with FLIR engineers it has come to Johnson
Controls attention the FLIR
Ranger is a military weapons platform. Johnson Controls can provide Ranger cameras but the design phase to work up a quote takes a minimum of three months and requires a security clearance.
What is the intent of the camera system? Is a Ranger camera required? Is there better specs for this platform? Please provide basis of design.
The radar/camera system must be military grade. The camera interacts with the radar.
