About this file
This amendment modifies an existing solicitation for a water treatment plant replacement project on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. The project constructs an 8 million gallon per day membrane filtration water treatment facility to enable compliance with current and future drinking water regulations and address potential saltwater intrusion issues. Revisions include replacing general notes and equipment tags on design drawings, modifying language in specification sections covering service piping, laboratory equipment, process piping, and membrane systems. Required membrane elements must be from a manufacturer with at least three operating municipal nanofiltration plants over 5 million gallons per day capacity and 5 years of experience in the United States.
