9/25/2018 Reference: Spec. Section 01 91 13 Commissioning Requirements – Building 404: Several sections within the specification reference SMRT, Inc. as the Commissioning Agent. Sect. 1.1.3 Commissioning Plan, Section 1.3.1.4 Commissioning Authority: SMRT Inc.
(CA). Sect. 1.5.5.1 states” The CM shall include the cost of the commissioning efforts in their contract price.”
Question: Is the CM (General Contractor) to carry the cost of the Commissioning Agent or just the support efforts identified for all the other trades and if we are to carry the cost of the CA is that CA restricted to SMRT, Inc.?

9/28/2018 Referencing Drawing “Volume 1, ES‐505 Conductor pathway Diagrams” and “Volume 3, E‐502 One‐Line Diagrams, There appears to be conflicting conductor sizes required for the Circuits 404A & 404B. Please clarify.
Volume 1, ES‐505 is correct. Please see corrected Volume 3, E‐501 and E‐502 in Amendment 6 package dated 10/1/2018.
9/28/2018 Please provide a conduit size for the COMM conduit between BLDG 55 and MH‐2017. Note #6 on DWG ES‐ 101 does not specify.

9/28/2018 Drawing M‐704 indicates 6” Schedule 40 carbon steel piping from DC‐15 to floor vacuum consisting of 3 inlets. This piping is not detailed on any of the other drawings. Please indicate routing for the 6” floor vacuum piping, where the 3 inlets are to be located along with size, what needs to be provided for an end connection at each branch, and whether each branch will require a blast gate.
Provide two 6‐inch pipe inlets, one at the North East corner of room 107, and one at the South East corner. Each inlet has a 6‐inch 150 pound pipe flange and a blind flange. The client will provide the inlet connection to these flanges. Room 108 would be similar, with connections in the North West and South West corners.
9/28/2018 Drawing M‐704 indicates 6” Schedule 40 carbon steel piping between DC‐15 & V‐1 whereas the details and duct drawings indicate 12”.
Please confirm sizing.
The correct piping size is 12". The anticipated connection at V‐1 is 6".

Drawings reference specification section 00 22 13.00 20 which includes Building 149 (and 149A) under "CLIN 0004 Option Item No. 3".

9/28/2018 Volume 8: Building Demolition drawing package.
Drawing MD‐111 indicates work is to fall under CLIN: 0009. This CLIN number on the bid form requests "Planned Modification 8, Shipyard Equipment ‐ Building 404". Should this work actually fall under CLIN:
0015 ‐ Option 5, Building 151 Demolition?
Drawings reference specification section 00 22 13.00 20 which includes Building 151 under "CLIN 0009 Option Item No. 8".
In solictionation document "N4008518R8716N4008518R8716.pdf ", "Section 00 10 00 ‐ Solicitation" has this is under Item No 0015 option.
9/28/2018 Specification section 11 20 01 equipment list (pages 1 &
2) does not match specification section 11 00 01 Attachment A equipment list. For example item 38b Dry Storage Weighing Ventilation Table is listed in 11 20 01 and not 11 00 01. There are other discrepancies between the 2 lists as well. Please advise.
Amendment 6 issuance of 11 20 01 cleaned up these discrepancies. The Rubber Compounding specification 11 20 01 is a performance specfication, the contactor is to work with a subcontractor that has rubber Compounding experience to fulfill the performance requiements of the specification, see 11 20 01 parag. 1.0 and 1.9.2.5.
