9/20/2018 Per specification section 11 40 01 1.7.1, miscellaneous tools shall meet the design standard as delineated in section B. However, section B of that specification does not appear to have any design standards listed. Can you provide design standards and or manufacturers specifications for miscellaneous tools?

Data Sheets are provided in Attachement B of spec. 11 40 01; data sheets indicate mfr./model, or provide link to item, and/or catelog cuts are provided, and/or supplemental accessory catelog cuts are provided.

The products indicated provide the basis for the minimum design standard, and submitted products must meet the minimum standards.

9/20/2018 Specification Section 01-62-00 "Acoustical Testing", page 5 "Attachment: Example Sound Attenuation Panel Assemblies", this attachment is missing, please provide copy.

Instead of reference to specification attachement, this reference is to drawing A-515 of Volume 3 drawings.

9/20/2018 Drawing Volume #3, Sheet 191 of 376, drawing Number A-515, "Tactical Acoustic Panel Notes", number 9 states this should be par of CLIN 011, please confirm this is in error and should read CLIN 0017.

10/3/2018 Drawing ES-501 shows a new line to feed Building 92.

Drawing ES-504 indicates we are to reuse the line from AC38 and AC38A to for circuit 92. It is unclear how this is to be accomplished. AC38A is not shown on ES-101.

Please clarify.

Refer to Diagram D1 on ES-504 and Keyed Note 4. New circuit conductors should be spliced to conductors currently feeding building 92 inside MH AC-38. AC-38A is located just to the West of B404 and is labled as "2589" on ES-101.

10/3/2018 The electrical Specifications contain the specifications for the Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) for mechanical equipment and some are shown on Drawing E-501 the one line for Building 404. On drawing M-602 Mechanical Schedule the air handling units and ERV-1 the VFDs are to be furnished by the mechanical contractor. Who is furnishing the VFD units?

The VFDs are intended to be by Mechanical, and meeting the Electrical specifications.

Can this be clarified as to where the new Switch is and we are not overlapping something that is picked up elsewhere?

Note 3 on E-502 Building 404 can be ignored. VFI switches are shown in Site and Phasing Volume 1 drawing ES-501.

10/3/2018 Drawing E-501 Building 96 One line diagram notes that we are to replace the main circuit breaker and busbar for the existing MDP. Do we have manufacturer and model information on this MDP? Will it be made available so we can quote the correct equipment?

What is the arrangement of the of the paint / dust filters in these booths. Is it a full backwall filter plenum with the paint filter in front of a dust filter (in series), or is it a split backwall filter plenum with a portion of the backwall dedicated to paint and another portion dedicated to dust (in parrallel)?

The dust verses paint filter can be done either way with a common prefilter for dust and paint or separate dust and paint in a split back wall.

There does not appear to be any mechanism to divert ventilation air from the VLP / Shafts areas away from the make-up air units (AHU-5, AHU-6). Mechanical gates are incorporated to ventilate either thru the blast dust collectors or thru the paint plenums, but air appears to be 100% recirculated at all times. Please confirm.

The intent is to send air from the recirculation fan discharge header, through the air handler return air damper, past the air handler fans, and back into the main air header that feeds the supply diffusers. The ratio of recirculated air to outside air would be controlled by the air handler return air damper and outside air dampers.

Will be best to be locally engineered / designed and installed.

The general contractor is ultimately responsible to install fire suppression system as specified in accordance with

NFPA 33.
