About this file
This document is a Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification (DD Form 254) outlining classified information handling requirements for a Naval Air Systems Command contract.
The DD Form 254 specifies a secret facility security clearance level and no classified material storage requirements at the contractor facility. It addresses access to and handling of classified COMSEC and National Intelligence Information. The contractor will receive, store, and generate classified material and information. Basic OPSEC measures are deemed sufficient to protect critical information.
The contract number is a request for proposal and not valid for performance. The purpose of the task order is to provide aircraft maintenance services for F/A-18 aircraft. The security classification guidance addresses technical paper submission and public release processes. It identifies points of contact for reporting loss or compromise of classified or controlled unclassified information.
