About this file

This document contains a federal contract opportunity solicitation and related files for a ship maintenance availability. The Naval Sea Systems Command issued solicitation N00024-20-R-4401 for execution of the FY21 USS LAKE ERIE (CG 70) Selected Restricted Availability, combining maintenance, modernization, and repair. The work requires a contractor with substantial pier and human resources capable of completing, coordinating, and integrating multiple ship areas. Based on complexity, magnitude and duration, the requirement will not be set aside for small business. Interested parties must register in the System for Award Management and monitor beta.SAM.gov for release of the solicitation and amendments. The solicitation and non-posted attachments will be provided to contractors submitting a signed letter stating they are a Department of Defense contractor. The Government anticipates a single award by August 2020 for an availability start of November 2020 at the contractor's facility on the West Coast.
