About this file
This is an Exhibit A site map and operational guide for landscaping services at the Decker Power Station, a facility managed by what appears to be a municipal or regional utility. The document outlines seven distinct landscaping zones across approximately 9 acres of plant buildings and grounds plus additional outlying areas requiring comprehensive vegetation management and maintenance services. The zones include the main plant building and grounds (Zone 1), outlying plant areas and photovoltaic regions (Zone 2), a backup control center (Zone 3), the 969 River Pump Station (Zone 4), Lindell Gas Yard (Zone 5), dam and lake-side perimeter areas (Zone 6), and a pipeline easement corridor (Zone 7). Landscaping activities across all zones include mowing, weed eating, shrub trimming, tree and vegetation removal up to specified diameter limits, debris removal from storm drains, fence line vegetation management, and stormwater channel maintenance. Several zones require advance scheduling and locked gate access coordinated with Decker management, and all contractor personnel must complete orientation videos, maintain valid hard hat stickers, and complete annual safety training.
Zone 6 includes quarterly treatment of rip-rap areas with herbicides to prevent vegetation growth, requiring contractors to possess appropriate licenses and certifications for herbicide application near the lake. Contractors electing alternative weed control methods must provide detailed descriptions on bid sheets. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for any treatment materials must be submitted one month in advance for approval by Decker's Environmental Professional. Access procedures require valid identification at the South Gate Guard House, sign-in and sign-out at the Administration Building for each visit, one-hour advance notice for locked area access, and notification to management when starting and finishing work in each zone. The document references a full Landscaping Scope of Work and Decker Contractor Work Requirements (Appendix B) for complete service specifications, indicating this exhibit serves as a supplementary visual and logistical reference for contracted landscaping operations.
