About this file
This Solicitation Addendum No. 2, issued by Austin Financial Services - Central Procurement on October 23, 2026, modifies IFB 1100 DPL1010, a vegetation and grounds maintenance contract for Austin Energy substations and vacant lots. The addendum clarifies requirements and incorporates revised solicitation documents, including Solicitation Details, Instructions, and Terms & Conditions Version 2, Exhibit O containing substation and vacant lots site maps, and a revised Exhibit F with updated substation and site descriptions. Location #36 is identified as Rainey Street Substation. A Pre-Offer Conference was held on October 22, 2026, via Microsoft Teams with point of contact Diana Le. Vendors must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by returning one signed copy with their response prior to the solicitation closing date, or risk rejection of their offer.
Key clarifications addressed in the Q&A section specify that awarded vendors will not need to check in with security at substation locations, as service areas are outside the substation fence. Sites will be escorted exclusively by the Austin Energy Facilities Manager or designee. Vendors must document completed work with timestamped photographs to prevent miscommunication. Substation locations contain both irrigated and non-irrigated areas with varying terrain, with most service needs focused on weed control. The Pre-Offer Conference attendance sheet identifies multiple city agencies and potential bidders, including representatives from Austin Energy, EPSI, BrightView Landscape Services, Mesquite and Oak Land Service, and Corza Construction LLC.
