About this file
This document provides details for a solicitation seeking proposals to rehabilitate an automotive repair shop at Olympic National Park in Washington. The solicitation will require removing and replacing the existing diesel fueling system with new aboveground tanks, pumps, and piping. It will also require constructing a roof canopy over the fuel area, reconfiguring site stormwater piping, and rehabilitating the shop building including mechanical, plumbing and electrical upgrades and a new metal roof. Offerors must visit the website for location details and attend an optional site visit on January 19, 2021. This is a best value negotiated procurement set aside for women-owned small businesses requiring a payment bond, performance bond, and liability insurance. Proposals are due approximately 30 days after solicitation posting to www.beta.SAM.gov. The prime contractor must comply with limitations on subcontracting, and the work will be performed under a single firm-fixed price construction contract subject to Davis Bacon wage rates.

Relevant Experience READ CAREFULLY: The purpose of this form is for the offeror to list construction projects (preferably performed during the past five (5) years) that are similar to the work described in this solicitation and from whom the government may gather past performance information. The number of projects listed shall not exceed ten (10) and shall be numbered consecutively, beginning with the most recent project. Use this form to address your familiarity with the Scope of Work described in the plans and specifications and with the capability criteria described in the Request for Proposal. It is especially important that the offeror disclose instances in which their past performance may be considered by others to be less than fully satisfactory. The offeror should tell their side of the story and describe remedial corrective action that has been taken or will be taken to correct the deficiency. Failure to do so may result in a determination that an offeror has been less than candid with the Government, which could result in an unfavorable assessment of the offeror’s past performance record.
