NOTES

NOTES / INFORMATION

1Workmans Compensation rates for Clerical Staff are usually less than 1%. When entering the rate, you must use a "0" at the beginning of the number.
So instead of entering ".4", you need to enter "0.4". This is required for the formula to work properly.
2Executive Order (EO) 13706, Establishing Paid Sick Leave for Federal Contractors, applies to all contracts subject to the Service Contract Act for which
the contract is awarded (and any solicitation was issued) on or after January 1, 2017. If this contract is covered by the EO, the contractor
must provide employees with 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours they work, up to 56 hours of paid sick leave each year. Employees
must be permitted to use paid sick leave for their own illness, injury or other health-related needs, including preventive care; to assist a family member (or
person who is like family to the employee) who is ill, injured, or has other health-related needs, including preventive care; or for reasons resulting from,
or to assist a family member (or person who is like family to the employee) who is the victim of, domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
Additional information on contractor requirements and worker protections under the EO is available at www.dol.gov/whd/govcontracts.

[For example, the formula =IF(A1>10,"Over 10","10 or less") returns "Over 10" if A1 is greater than 10, and "10 or less" if A1 is less than or equal to 10.]

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO THE WAGE ADJUSTMENT EVALUATION
1B-1 Staffing Plan which should have been submitted as a deliverable at the start of the contract
The B-1 tells you:
What union applies (or if a union is in place)
What the workman's compensation rate is - this rate remains constant throughout the life of the contract
What positions are on staff. How many hours they are scheduled to work per week.
(If you do not have this, use the L-1 Proposed Management Plan which should be part of the proposal package submitted prior to award.)
2Either the Union Agreement, or the DOL Wage Determination that applies to the county where the work is being done.
Union Agreement - Base Wage + Health & Welfare + Pension + No. of Sick Days off
Is H&W paid into a fund? Or directly to the Employee?

What kind of contract? Full Maintenance -- O&M -- Custodial start with the format that matches your services type

Union or Non Union?

If non-union, was it awarded before or after Jan 1, 2017? If after, EO 13706 applies - - use the NEW FORMAT.
If EO 13706 applies, be careful to use the Health and Welfare rate that relates to the EO. Currently, that rate is $4.13.

Executive Order 13658 relates to the minimum wage rate. Be sure to compare the
