This is a Report of Analysis from ATA Chemistry Laboratory for a raw water sample collected on 6/26/2012 at the Water Treatment Plant for a Deionized Water System Project. The laboratory analysis tested multiple water quality parameters including total alkalinity (87.0 mg/L), specific conductance (199.1 umhos/cm), total hardness (91.6 mg/L), calcium (29.4 mg/L), iron (0.432 mg/L), manganese (0.506 mg/L), pH (7.69 units), total dissolved solids (108 mg/L), and total organic carbon (1.31 mg/L). The sample was analyzed using standard methods like SM2320B, EPA 120.1, SM2340C, EPA 200.7, and others, with tests performed between 6/26/2012 and 7/13/2012 by analysts SDB and CRB. The report was authorized by William L. Lock, Laboratory Technical Director, and includes detailed notes on data qualifiers and method detection limits.

< = The target analyte was not detected at the stated MDL. The associated data value is the limit of detection; adjusted by any dilution factor used in the analysis.

Analytes detected at a concentration greater than the MDL, but below the PQL, are estimated

E = For TCLP analytes only; A "Total Analysis" was performed and the results divided by 20, which would be the equivalent maximum theoretical concentration that could be found in the TCLP extract.

Q = One or more Quality Control criteria failed. Data usability should be carefully assesed by user.

MDL = Method Detection Limit, which is the minimum concentration of a substance that can be measured and reported with 99% confidence that the analyte concentration is greater than zero.

PQL = Practical Quantitation Limit, which is typically 5 to 10 times the MDL, and usually represents the lowest point on the calibration curve.

TCLP results reported as mg/liter (ppm) of TCLP extract.

The results contained in this report represent only the sample submitted, and the analytes requested. Analytes not listed cannot be assumed to be absent.

This Report of Analysis must be reproduced in full, if copied. Case Narraratives, COCs, Sample Receipt Checklists, QC data, and other documentation are an integral part of this report and should not be separated from the Report of Analysis.

Report of Analysis Notes

All results are reported on an "as received" basis, unless otherwise noted.

B1 - This analyte was found in the method blank, which was possibly contaminated during sample preparation, at levels above the MDL but below the PQL. The batch blank was accepted. Note: For metals the blank value must be <2.2 x MDL.

B2 - This analyte was found in the method blank, which was possibly contaminated during sample preparation, at levels above the PQL.

Data usability should be carefully assessed by the user.

L1 – The recovery of this analyte in the LCS was outside established control limits.

L-2 - The recovery of this analyte in the LCS was outside established control limits. However, the MS/MSD recoveries were acceptable, so the batch QC was accepted.

M1 = Matrix spike recovery was high; the associated LCS spike recovery was acceptable.

M2 = Matrix spike recovery was low; the associated LCS spike recovery was acceptable.

M3 = The spike recovery value is unusable since the analyte concentration in the sample is disproportionate to the spike level. The associated

LCS spike recovery was acceptable.

M4 = MS/MSD RPD exceeded the method acceptance limit. Recovery met acceptance criteria.

M5- The spike recovery for this QC sample is outside of established control limits possibly due to sample matrix interferenc

M6- The RPD and/or percent recovery for this QC spike sample cannot be accurately calculated due to the high concentration of analyte inherent in the sample.

M7 -The spike recovery and/or RPD were outside acceptance limits for the MS and/or MSD due to possible matrix interference. The LCS and/or LCSD were within acceptance limits showing that the laboratory is in control and the data is acceptable.

S3- The recovery of this surrogate is outside control limits due to sample dilution required from high analyte concentration and/or matrix interference's.

S1 = Surrogate recovery was outside laboratory acceptance limits.

S2 = Surrogate recovery was outside laboratory acceptance limits. No target analytes were detected in the sample.
