About this file
This document is an Attachment to a federal solicitation that details the AEDC Design Review Flow and Expectations for the Facility Exhaust System contract (FA9101-25-R-B001). The attachment outlines a comprehensive design review process with specific requirements for contractors, including scheduling design review kickoff meetings at least 10 working days in advance, preparing and submitting design review packages, and following a structured review period. Key procedural steps include presenting design materials two working days prior to the kickoff meeting, allowing a standard 10-working-day review period for AEDC stakeholders, and implementing a formal comment resolution process where contractors must address all comments within 5 working days. The document emphasizes the contractor's responsibility to prove design compliance with project requirements through a requirements traceability matrix, with potential design review failure if requirements are not successfully demonstrated.
