QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
21 FEBRUARY 2023
Q1. Are the current technical orders in accordance with TM-86-01?
A1. Yes
Q2. In the SOW section 3.3.1.1 it is stated, “Components and surfaces of the MAAS, specified in the drawing package 201018515, CAGE 98752 that are currently corrosion protected with use of liquid primer and topcoat materials shall instead be corrosion protected with the use of powder-based primer and topcoat materials.
Powder-based primer and topcoat materials shall be used in lieu of the liquid primer and topcoat materials currently specified in the existing TDP 201018515, CAGE 98752.”
Will every drawing require an ECP to reflect the change in primer and topcoat materials?
A2. See RFP Amendment 003 posting on SAM.gov for revised Statement of Work (SOW).
Revisions have been made to the SOW to change all paint related paragraphs to reflect liquid primer and topcoat materials.
