This document outlines a solicitation for a small munitions trailers acquisition. The Air Force Materiel Command is seeking a firm fixed price IDIQ contract over seven years to provide two classifications of munitions handling trailers. The basic contract period is two years for development and first article testing, followed by five one-year option periods for production quantities. The contractor must design, test, and produce MHU-110V2 and MHU-141V2 trailers per the technical data package and statement of work. Data deliverables are required. The tradeoff source selection process will evaluate cost/price and past performance. The RFP is anticipated for release on November 30th 2018 with award planned for August-September 2019. Production quantities of up to 125, 300 and 300 trailers may be ordered annually during the option periods.
