This document outlines a solicitation for a small munitions trailers acquisition. The Air Force Materiel Command is seeking a firm fixed price IDIQ contract over seven years to provide two classes of small munitions trailers, the MHU-110V2 and MHU-141V2, in accordance with technical specifications. The basic contract period is two years for development and first article testing, followed by five one-year option periods for production quantities. The contractor must design, test, and produce the trailers to meet requirements. Data items will be required for management, engineering, testing, and logistics. The competition is set aside for small businesses. The tradeoff process will evaluate cost/price and past performance, with an anticipated award date between August and September 2019. Production quantities of up to 300 trailers per year may be ordered during the option periods.
