This document outlines a solicitation for a small munitions trailers acquisition. The Air Force Materiel Command is seeking a firm fixed price IDIQ contract over seven years to provide two classifications of small munitions trailers, the MHU-110V2 and MHU-141V2. The basic contract period is two years for development and first article testing, followed by five one-year option periods for production quantities. The contractor must design, test, and produce the trailers according to technical specifications. Foreign companies are not permitted to participate. The tradeoff source selection process will evaluate cost/price and past performance, with an anticipated award date between August and September 2019. Small businesses will receive priority with a 100% set-aside. The contractor must also deliver various data items and reports throughout the period of performance. Production quantities will range from one to 300 trailers of each classification ordered per year.
