This document outlines a solicitation for a small munitions trailers acquisition. The Air Force Materiel Command is seeking a firm fixed price IDIQ contract over seven years to provide two classifications of small munitions trailers. The contractor will design, test, and produce MHU-110V2 and MHU-141V2 trailers in accordance with technical specifications. First article units are required for each item. The basic contract period is two years for ramp up and first article testing, followed by five one-year option periods to order trailers in any combination not exceeding 125 units for the first option, 300 units for the second and third options, and 300 units for the fourth and fifth options. The acquisition utilizes full and open competition set aside for small businesses. Proposals are due in November 2018 and award is anticipated in August to September 2019.
