This document outlines a solicitation for a small munitions trailers acquisition. The Air Force Materiel Command is seeking a firm fixed price IDIQ contract over seven years to provide two classifications of munitions handling trailers, the MHU-110V2 and MHU-141V2. The basic contract period is two years for development and first article testing, followed by five one-year option periods for production quantities. The solicitation will be released on or around November 30th 2018, with anticipated award from August to September 2019. Offerors must propose on all line items in the written solicitation. The basic contract includes first article units for testing and evaluation. Option periods one through five allow ordering a combination of the two trailer types not to exceed 125, 300, 300, 300 and 300 units respectively. The acquisition will utilize best value tradeoffs between non-cost factors and price.
