This document outlines a solicitation for a small munitions trailers acquisition. The Air Force Materiel Command is seeking a firm fixed price IDIQ contract over seven years to provide two classifications of munitions handling trailers. The basic contract period is two years for development and first article testing, followed by five one-year option periods for production quantities. The contractor must design, test, and produce MHU-110M and MHU-141 trailers according to technical specifications. Minimum order quantities are specified for the basic period and each option year, with a maximum annual total of 125, 300, and 300 trailers respectively. The solicitation will utilize tradeoff best value selection between non-cost factors and price. The RFP is expected to release on November 30th 2018 with anticipated award from August to September 2019. Only domestic small businesses may apply, and the acquisition is 100% set aside.
