Introduce the chlorinating materials into the system in a manner approved by the Owner's representative. Allow the sterilization solution to remain in the system for a period of 24 hours, during which time, open and close all valves and faucets several times. After sterilization, flush the solution from the system with clean water until the residual chlorine content is not greater than 0.2 parts per million.
Water system will not be accepted until a negative bacteriological test is made on water taken from the system. Repeat dosing as necessary until such negative test is accomplished.
B. Reports:
1. Prepare reports for all purging and disinfecting activities.
