Other substances banned from usage on the work site include carbon tetrachloride, methyl chloroform, and methyl bromide.
Hazardous Waste: The contractor is responsible for the proper handling and management of all hazardous waste generated from work performed on Air Force property. Contractor must, store, document, and transport hazardous waste in accordance with applicable Air Force State, local, Federal, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Only Hill AFB authorized individuals are allowed to sign Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest for Hill
AFB hazardous waste. Contractor will be held fully liable for any of their activity or non-activity that results in a Notice of Violation (NOV) or any other penalty. Any waste generated, hazardous or non-hazardous by the contractor will be the responsibility of the contractor. If a Notice of Violation is issued or regulators are investigating a potential violation, the contractor will assist Hill in defending the investigation.

Asbestos: The contractor must be aware that materials in and around any construction or renovation project could potentially contain asbestos materials. The Government will make every effort to locate and identify all ACM (asbestos containing material) prior to bidding;
however this is not always possible. These materials are often hidden and cannot be discovered until after demolition has begun. The failure of the Government to identify all ACM in no way relieves the contractor from his legal obligation to comply with state and federal regulations regarding the handling of asbestos.
