About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document issued by Franklin County on May 21, 2026, regarding RFP #2026-09-08 for sanitary sewer connections of single-family residences in the Hague Avenue Service Area. The document addresses two inquiries submitted by potential proposers prior to the May 18, 2026 deadline. The first question requests tap locations and depths for sanitary sewer connections at all properties in the project area. The county responded that lateral endpoints are marked in the field with green-painted wooden posts and provided a table with lateral locations relative to nearby manholes and estimated depths, with the caveat that Franklin County does not guarantee the accuracy of these depth estimates. The second question confirms that all properties in the project area are currently connected to City of Columbus water service. Sealed proposals are due by 2:00 p.m. on May 29, 2026, at the Franklin County Purchasing Department, where they will be publicly opened and proposer names announced. The timestamp recorded by the Purchasing Department will serve as the official record for determining timely receipt, with any proposals received after the deadline rejected regardless of reason. The proposal opening will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams, with additional details available on the Franklin County Purchasing Office website.
No additional information regarding pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, funding sources, or other financial or contractual terms is provided in this document, as it serves solely to address pre-submission questions from potential bidders.
