About this file
Addendum 1 to Attachment B Technical Specifications Part A was issued by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department and Benton County for the Fort Stevens Campground Improvements Project (Contract #12279). The project encompasses comprehensive utility and infrastructure upgrades at Fort Stevens State Park, including utility improvements in Loops L, M, N, and O, electrical retrofitting of the South Camp Lift Station, grading upgrades for Day Use Area Restrooms with accessible parking and pathways, and replacement of an existing restroom in Loop C with a new restroom and shower building. The solicitation was posted on January 2, 2025, with proposals due by February 5, 2025. Work hours are restricted to 7AM-5PM Monday-Friday unless otherwise approved.
The project requires contractors with technical capabilities in civil engineering, landscape design, electrical systems, and construction management, with emphasis on experience in state park infrastructure projects. Two bid alternates are included: sanitary sewer pressure main replacement and manhole pump station replacement for the South Camp Lift Station. Contractors must develop erosion control and traffic control plans while adhering to environmental mitigation procedures and protecting cultural resources. While specific budget figures are not provided, the extensive technical specifications (2MB) and drawing sets (150MB) indicate a substantial project scope.
