About this file

Summary

This document is a product specification and procurement file for custom workstation consoles (hotseats) issued by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), a Combat Support Agency. The primary contractor identified is LaCour, Inc., located in Fairfield, New Jersey, with contract administration handled through their New York office. The specification details a Custom FORZA HDT Console measuring 72 inches in length by 36 inches in depth, with comprehensive technical requirements for military operations center environments.

The WS-14 console specification includes a 72" x 24" cantilevered work surface with 3mm PVC edge, factory-assembled core assembly featuring extruded aluminum members (40x40mm and 40x160mm profiles), three lift-out infill access panels with 63% open perforated steel vent panels, and fixed CPU shelf storage accommodating two to four CPUs depending on configuration. The console incorporates 36-inch network separation between classified and non-classified systems, lineal horizontal and 18-inch high side termination panels, one 20-amp Wiremold 2000 power fixture with 10 simplex receptacles, 18-gauge steel sliding access doors, chromium rod cable tray, mobile storage pedestals, and a monitor arm supporting four 21-inch monitors. Installation occurs in two phases: initial delivery and setup of prewired frame assemblies, followed by installation of work surfaces, infill panels, access doors, and storage upon completion of electrical and data connections by other contractors. The total procured quantity is 220 units distributed between two locations: 28 units for Net Assurance Open Office A and 192 units for Operations Center.
