About this file

This is Standard Form 30, Amendment 0005 to Contract HC102826R0053, effective August 26, 2026, issued by DISA/DITCO at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

The amendment modifies the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the DISA Global Columbus Furniture Upgrade task order by removing the designation of "optional" from sections 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, and 6.7, thereby making carpeting, office chairs, glass whiteboards, and lockers mandatory deliverables rather than optional items. The contract involves comprehensive furniture reconfiguration at the Defense Supply Center Columbus facility in Whitehall, Ohio (3990 E Broad Street, Building 10). Core scope includes demolition and removal of 69 existing workstations, relocation of 4 workstations to a collaboration space, and installation of 78 new linear and circular-configured workstations with electrical connections, monitor arms, ladder racks, and CAT6 cabling (156 x 150 feet for SIPR and NIPR systems). Additional mandatory requirements now include installation of commercial-grade removable carpet squares (1-2 feet by 1-2 feet), 85 ergonomic office chairs with specified features (adjustable height, lumbar support, 300-pound capacity), four magnetic glass whiteboards (minimum 74" x 42"), and 60 double-stacked metal wall lockers with swing-down hasps. The contractor must provide detailed project schedules, shop drawings, electrical submittals with Arc Flash data, Lock-Out Tag-Out plans, and close-out documentation including as-built drawings and five-year product warranties. Performance period is 12 months from award, with all work to be performed on-site under government escort, and the contract requires compliance with multiple electrical and safety codes including NEC 2014, NFPA standards, and UFC guidelines.
