About this file
This document contains a contractor certification form and details of a federal contract opportunity for hotel lodging services. The contractor certification form requires any contractor to comply with immigration and nationality laws when employing foreign nationals to provide services to the Department of Veterans Affairs. It also mandates use of E-Verify and prohibits employment of illegal aliens.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration seeking a contractor to provide hotel rooms for veterans receiving medical care at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran's Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. The solicitation requires the contractor to operate an established lodging facility near the hospital and furnish standard room supplies and services. Rooms are to accommodate medically stable patients who must travel for treatment the day before or after and would otherwise be discharged home.
