About this file

This document provides standards for semi-improved areas, unimproved areas, and storm drainage systems maintenance at all Contracted Logistics Sites. Maintenance of semi-improved acreage must meet operational requirements for bird aircraft strike hazard, antiterrorism force protection, clear zone management, and other priorities. Unimproved acreage maintenance is limited to minimal services to maintain perimeter fences, fire breaks and roadway clearances. Vegetation control and debris removal must be performed for ditches, swales, berms and other drainage systems to allow for adequate drainage. The same standards apply at all locations.

The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Air Force Headquarters District Washington for base operations support services at Marine Helicopter Squadron One and the Defense Information System Agency. Solicitation number FA7060-23-R-0010 provides details on the required products and services.
