About this file
This document outlines COVID-19 safety protocols for contractors working at Department of Veterans Affairs facilities. It requires contractors to verify vaccination status or provide negative COVID-19 test results within three days of entry. Contractors must adhere to daily screening protocols which may include answering questions from the COVID-19 screening tool. They must also notify their contracting officer representative or contracting officer if contract performance is jeopardized due to denied entry for failing to meet safety requirements. For indefinite delivery contracts, contractors must comply with these supplemental requirements for any existing task or delivery orders.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center Austin for infrastructure upgrades and renovations at the Marion VA facility. The project involves electrical, HVAC, communication, security, and fiber infrastructure upgrades across campus as well as data center and road/walk/utility work.
