About this file
This is a permit document for fire-smoke barrier installation requirements. The document outlines the specifications and compliance standards necessary for fire-smoke barriers that must be implemented as part of the video surveillance security installation project at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) Alvin C. York Campus in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The permit serves as an attachment to the solicitation for Project 626A4-22-104 and establishes the technical and safety requirements that the contractor must follow when installing fire-smoke barriers in conjunction with the surveillance system infrastructure.
The fire-smoke barrier permit specifies construction standards, material requirements, and inspection protocols to ensure compliance with building codes and fire safety regulations applicable to healthcare facility modifications. Contractors responding to this solicitation must incorporate these permit requirements into their technical proposals and project planning, as adherence to fire-smoke barrier specifications is a mandatory component of the overall video surveillance security installation at the Veterans Affairs facility. The permit documentation provides the regulatory framework within which the selected contractor must operate during system installation and testing phases.
