Patents End-to-End (PE2E) is web-based and allows Electronic Document Review System (eDRS) users to access a Mailbox Viewer, Application Editor, and documents, in a highly customizable interface.

Open and Place a Document in a Specific Location
1. In the Editor Contents tab, right-click a document and select Open in;
see Figure 3.
• The Open in window will appear; it gives a user the ability to open a document in a variety of locations in the current window or in a new window entirely.
2. In the Open in window, click the middle of Window 2; see Figure 4. This will open the document and place the document in a new window; see Figure 5.
3. In the Open in window, click the left column of Window 1; see Figure 6. This will place the document in the left pane of Window 1; see Figure 7.
4. To place a document in the lower or upper section of a pane, in the Open in window click the bottom or top of a pane; see Figures 8 and 9.

Move a Document to a New Location
To move a document or tab from top to bottom, or left to right in window 1:
• Left-click and drag the tab to a desired location; release the mouse button.
To move a document in window 1, or to a whole new window:
• Right-click the top of the tab, select
Move to location; see Figure 10.
Choose a new pane or window.
Use Additional Windows
To open a gadget from the Application
Editor toolbar into an additional new window:
1. Right-click a gadget icon.
2. Click the empty area in Window 2;
see Figure 11.
To open a document from the Editor
Contents tab into an additional new window:
1. Right-click the document and select
Open In.
2. Click the empty area in Window 2;
see Figure 12.
Once extended windows are in use, additional windows will begin to display in the Open In window; see Figure 13.

Resize a Document
• Place the cursor over the dividing line between documents, the pointer changes to a double-headed arrow. Left-click and drag the line to a desired width or height; see Figure 14.
Pin a Document
In Chrome, it is very important for a user to pin a document to keep it open, before opening additional documents.
• Click the open blue circle icon on the top left of a tab to pin the newly opened document; see Figure 15.
The tab icon will change so the user knows it is now pinned; see Figure 16.
Close a Document
To close a document, either:
• Hover over a tab until the red X appears at the top right of the tab, and click the X.
• Click the Gadget actions button located in the upper right corner of the document viewing pane and select Close tab; see
Figure 15.
