IFW Messages
Patents End-to-End (PE2E) Electronic Document Review System (eDRS) allows for users to create, reply to, forward, and delete Image File Wrapper (IFW) Messages.
Create a Message
Create IFW messages from any open PE2E-eDRS Application Editor window:
1. Right-click anywhere in the document list on the Editor Contents tab; see Figure 1.
2. Select Create Message… from the expanded menu; see Figure 1.
3. In the New Message window that opens, use the down arrows to expand menus and select Current
Team, To Team, and a specific User; see Figure 2.
4. Type a message in the Message field and click Send; see Figure 2.

Reply, Forward, and Delete Messages
IFW messages can be replied to, forwarded, and deleted from the message list in the Active Messages tab.
Right-click on a message row and select an option from the expanded menu; see Figure 3.
• Select Reply to Message to reply. Enter text in the Message field and click Send; see Figure 4.
• Select Forward Message to forward a copy of the message to another user.
Use the down arrows next to each category and select Current Team, To Team, and specific
User from the expanded menus. Click Send; see figure 5.
• Select Delete Message to delete the IFW message from a user’s list. Click Delete; see
Figure 6.
