PE2E-eDRS
Column Selector
The eDRS (Electronic Document Review System) is used to access mailboxes and to electronically review and edit documents. Specific data columns can be selected to appear in the
Mailbox Viewer - Active Messages tab and in the Application Editor - Editor Contents tab.
Access the Mailbox Viewer
1. Click the Start button (at the bottom left of the main monitor) and enter PE2E in the Search field; see Figure 1.
2. Click PE2E under Programs in the results list.

NOTE
• If the Active Messages tab does not automatically appear, click the Gadgets Briefcase button, select
Active Messages, and open the tab in window 1;
see Figure 3.
View Active Messages
The Active Messages tab contains filters for multiple team mailboxes.
1. Click the ALL filter on the Active Messages tab to view all active messages.
OR
Click the arrow to the right of the Teams: field to expand the menu; click to select and open a specific mailbox filter. Repeat as needed to add additional mailbox filters to view (limit 5 at once); see Figure 2.
The number of messages in a mailbox will be listed to the right of the mailbox filter; see
Figure 2.
2. Click a mailbox filter that is populated with messages to view the messages in the tab.

Select Columns
1. On the Active Messages tab, right-click any column heading or left-click the
Hide and show columns button; see Figure 4.
An expanded list of available columns appears.
2. In the column list, check to show a column or uncheck to hide a column.
3. All available columns are defined; see Table 1.
Column Title Column Description
Message id Unique identifier for the message
Date (*) Creation date of the message
Code (*) Doc code associated with the message (or ADHOC for general messages)
Status (*) Status of the message (New, Closed, Open, Forwarded, or Pending)
App # (*) Number of the application associated with the message
Sender Team Team mailbox from which the message was sent
Sender Team member who generated the message
Receiver Team Team mailbox to which the message was sent
Receiver Team member who is the message destination
Text (*) Message text
Priority Indicator if the IFW Priority flag is set
LastDig Last digit of the application number
Last2D Last 2 digits of the application number
GAU GAU assignment for the application of the message (requires Get Data)
PALM STATUS PALM STATUS for the application of the message (requires Get Data)
(*) Item listed by default or by pressing the Restore Default Columns button.

Access the Application Editor
To access an Application Editor window, either:
• Left-click an application number in the App # column; see Figure 5.
• Right-click in any cell and select Edit application(s) in new tab or Edit application(s) in new window from the expanded menu; see Figure 5.
• Enter the application number in the upper right search field and click the Edit button; see Figure 5.
An Application Editor window will open. The yellow bar across the top of the window reminds the user that they are in an application editing mode.
Select Columns
1. In the Editor Contents tab of the Application
Editor, right-click any column heading, or left-click the Hide and show columns button;
see Figure 6.
An expanded list of available columns displays; see Figure 6.
2. In the column list, check to show a column, or uncheck to hide a column.
3. All available columns are defined;
see Table 2.

# (*) Provides a count for each row of documents (independent of sort type)
Document State Indicator that shows if a document is pinned or unpinned
Document Type Text description of the Doc Code
Receipt Date (*) Receipt date of the document
Doc Code (*) Doc Code of the document
Pages (*) Number of pages in the document
Public (*) Public status indication
Annotation (*) Comment field for the document to add text notes to each document
Handled By (*) Identifier of the user who has marked the document “Handled by”
Procedure Document location (Prosecution, Prior Art, etc.)(No longer used)
Dir. Document direction (Outgoing, Incoming, Internal, etc.)

Opener Icon that launches the Opener to select where to open the document
NOTE
• After column selection in either the Mailbox Viewer or the Application Editor window is made, columns can be further customized. Click a column header and drag and drop the column to a new location in the grid, and/or click and drag either side of a cell to adjust the width of a column.
