About this file
This is a Scope of Work document outlining the installation and commissioning requirements for an air compressor system to be delivered to a County facility by August 17, 2026. The project encompasses the supply and installation of one compressor system unit, factory-authorized startup and commissioning services, operator and maintenance training, and warranty coverage. The vendor is responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, and materials necessary for mechanical assembly, component reconnection, connection to the existing compressed air distribution header, and condensate drain line connections. Installation must include verification that all safety devices, gauges, and controls are properly mounted and functional. The vendor shall provide on-site operator and maintenance training for a minimum of two hours duration at the time of startup and commissioning, with an operations and maintenance manual provided to the County. Documentation of all commissioning data must be submitted within five business days of completion.
The vendor is responsible for all costs associated with the system, installation, training, and warranty, with the total project cost to be included in a single line item. Warranty coverage includes 24 months for the compressor pump from acceptance and 12 months of parts and labor for the complete system. The County is responsible for electrical rough-in work, compressed air distribution piping beyond the system outlet connection point, and provision of a level, reinforced concrete or structural floor adequate for the unit weight prior to the scheduled installation date. A critical requirement specifies that all components and sub-assemblies must be capable of passing through a 46-inch wide doorframe without structural modification to the building. The vendor must coordinate delivery access with the County not less than five business days in advance and shall be responsible for all required permits, licenses, and calibration certificates. An optional extended warranty coverage for years one through five is available at an additional cost to be specified by the vendor.
