About this file
This document outlines the process flowchart for developing Tactical Infrastructure (TI) maintenance work plans for the Big Bend Sector and El Paso Sector in Texas. Over a 90 day period, the process involves the Contracting Officer's Representative and Alternate COR gathering work plan requirements, conducting site visits with the contractor and Border Patrol stations to develop work descriptions. The Contractor then finalizes the maintenance work plan, develops cost estimates, and enters the plan into the Work Management System. The COR/ACOR reviews and finalizes the plan, validates activities and costs, prioritizes work, and submits the plan for approval up the chain of command. Once approved, the COR activates the maintenance work plan in the WMS to begin execution.
