About this file
This document appears to be a job aid from the General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service providing guidance on how external users can gain access to the Kahua project management platform. The key details are:
External users need to request Kahua access via a Kahua Account Request Form available on GSA.gov. Project managers are responsible for adding external users to their projects once they have accounts, by selecting them from the Companies tab in the Project Directory app and assigning the appropriate security group. External users can then access their assigned projects through the Project Finder. The document also provides guidance on confirming external user security permissions, as well as resources for Kahua support and training.
The related federal contract opportunity is for a Design Build Dispose/Replace Electrical Generators project at the Dalton Cache Land Port of Entry in Haines, Alaska and a Design Build Replace Emergency Generator project at the Fairbanks Federal Building in Fairbanks, Alaska. There are also two optional projects - a Design Build Switchgear & Emergency Generator project at the Skagway Land Port of Entry, and a Design Build Replace Emergency Generator project at the Alcan Land Port of Entry. The solicitation is being issued by the General Services Administration Public Buildings Service Region 10.

The users Invitation Status in displayed here, if the status is Invitation Sent then the user has steps they still need to complete to accept the invitation and set up their account.
If they can’t find the emailed invitation they should submit a Support Ticket
Confirm Correct Security Group on People Tab
Recommended as a best practice to click on the People tab and confirm that the Security Groups have been assigned.
Add or Remove Groups if needed. If you initially add an uncleared contractor while they are in the security clearance process you will need to update their permissions here once clearance has been granted.
Without a Security Group assigned an External User will be unable to see the project
External Users should use Project Finder and search by Project Number, they can then “Favorite” their projects for easier access.
