QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 5 - 15
Question 5: The existing Server Room floor grid, is this being re-used to tie into the new floor grid or replaced with new?
Answer 5: It will be replaced. Sheet A3, Keynote 3 contains notation “REINSTALL EXISTING”, which is incorrect. Contractor is to provide all new access flooring and support system.

Question 7: The new raised floor grid for the simulator room, typically these have a specific layout for the vented floor panels to keep the equipment cool. Is there a specific layout / quantity of vented floor panels that you would provide to us?
Answer 7: Flooring is for cable access and reconfiguration of equipment when needed. HVAC supply and return is overhead. We are not aware of any need for vented floor panels.
Question 8: After a thorough review of the solicitation requirements, attending the site visit and communicating with our subcontractors we are requesting a 10 extension to the due date.
Please let me know if you need any additional information to support this request.
Answer 8: Unfortunately, we are unable to extend the SIR for an additional 10 days at this time.
Based upon the questions submitted to date and the need to revise specifications and drawings associated with the Seed Project, the FAA will be extending the closing date for the SIR by a few days. The FAA has a pretty tight deadline to make the contracts awards (hopefully before September 1st) so we need to keep the process moving.

Answer 9: We need the completed Past Performance Survey that was included in the SIR because it addresses some very specific questions.
Question 10: The Specification List of documents that was supplied with the SIR states:
