CLIN I CONSTRUCTION

BID SCHEDULE

AREA 20A CARBON TREATMENT BUILDING

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION

AREA 20A – JET FUEL FARM

CARBON TREATMENT BUILDING

The Construction Contract Bid consists of lump sum Bid Items. All bid prices shall include the necessary materials, equipment, tools, labor, subcontractors, appurtenances and all work incidental thereto to construct the Carbon Treatment Building at Area 20A (as shown on the Contract Documents) such that all contract requirements have been satisfied. The following Bid Item descriptions are not complete in every detail of the work required. The Bidder shall include the cost for all incidental work for each Bid Item with the appropriate Bid Item cost so as to provide a total project bid price that completely covers the entire cost for the work contained in the Contract Documents.

Total Cost (Sum of Total Costs for Bid Items 1 through 7)

The above total cost shall include all project costs. No costs outside of the above total cost will be accepted by the FAA. The Bidder shall submit additional documentation to further justify their cost proposal. This additional documentation shall consist of a line-item breakdown of all costs associated with each Bid Item 1 through 7. All labor, material, equipment, tools, appurtenances, and subcontractor costs shall be included. Each line-item shall include the quantity, number of units, unit cost, and line-item subtotal cost. The sum of all line items for a specific Bid Item shall add to the Bid Item total. All mark-ups shall be clearly shown. The FAA allows a maximum G&A mark-up of 8.4% on all labor and materials and a maximum Fee mark-up of 6.5%.

1 PROJECT MANAGEMENT COSTS - All costs for project management labor and other direct costs. This item shall not include craft labor, but shall include project managers, task supervisors, site foremen, task foremen, and submittal managers. All for the lump sum price of:

2 BUILDING CONSTRUCTION – Provide all materials, equipment, tools, subcontractors, appurtenances, and labor necessary to provide and install the carbon treatment building as described in the Contract Documents, including providing and installing of the rigid steel structure, roof and wall panels, roof and wall insulation, man door and rollup door, and windows. All for the lump sum price of:

3 BUILDING FOUNDATION AND FOOTINGS –

Provide all materials, equipment, tools, subcontractors, appurtenances, and labor necessary to complete the installation of the building foundation and footings as described in the Contract Documents, including the installation reinforced concrete slab, grade beams, and footings. All for the lump sum price of:

4 INTERIOR BUILDING COMPONENTS AND

PIPING – Provide all materials, equipment, tools, appurtenances, subcontractors and labor necessary to install all treatment system components and piping as described in the Contract Documents, including the installation of the bag filters, carbon vessels and carbon media; piping and fittings; flow meters; flow control valves; cleanouts; pressure gauges; sample taps; influent piping manifold; and wall hangers and floor pipe supports. All for the lump sum price of:

5 ELECTRICAL AND HVAC INSTALLATION –

Provide all materials, equipment, tools, subcontractors, appurtenances and labor necessary to complete the electrical and HVAC installation at the Area 20A Carbon Treatment Building as described in the Contract Documents. All for the lump sum price of:

6 INJECTION, EXTRACTION, AND MONITORING

WELL INSTALLATION – Provide all materials, equipment, tools, appurtenances, and labor necessary to install the groundwater extraction, injection, and monitoring wells as described in the Contract Documents, including well installation and well development. All for the lump sum price of:

7 BONDING – Provide all costs to obtain and maintain sufficient bonding to perform the work, for the duration of the project, for all work as described in the Contract Documents. All for the lump sum price of:
