Amendment00005 692M15-19-R-00005 Question:
SIR Section L.5.4 (Phase III - Volume II - Factor III Sample Task) subparagraph b (Material Submittal Sheets) requests that the Contractor submit all items listed on the Submittal Register (ENG Form 4288) as specified in the specifications. However when you refer to Form ENG Form 4288 in Specification Section 01330 (Submittal Procedures) this form is blank. Therefore would the FAA please define the level of detail they would like regarding these submittals for inclusion in the Contractor's proposal. For example, a submittal requirement for the Pre-engineered Metal Building (Specification Section 13120) are design calculations and design data for the specified building. This level of detailed information will be difficult to obtain for the purposes of a proposal, as it is not typically provided until an order / subcontract has been placed with the building manufacturer as there are costs associated with preparing stamped drawings and design calculations.
FAA Answer:
The level of detail required for the Submittal Register must conform with the requirements stated in Section 01330 “Submittal Procedures”, Paragraph 3.2 “Submittal Register” of the Technical Specifications. The Offeror must include all key elements of work cited within the Specifications on the Register.
